One of my wife’s and my favorite things to do on a Saturday morning is visit art galleries.

Years ago, I found them intimidating. The stuffy hush in the rooms. The silent clerk behind the high white desk. Why are the desks so high? But once I got over all of that, once I realized I could walk into practically any of them and see cutting-edge art for free—it’s been a regular, wonderful thing.

The trick is, for outsiders, how do we know know where to go, what to see, and when?Well, what do you know: there’s an app for that.
