Bike touring in Japan
Exploring Kyushu on two wheels for some inbox wanderlust
I’m composing this in a business lounge in Japan’s Fukuoka airport. Below are photos from a week’s foodie bike tour (for a travel magazine) of Nagasaki and Saga prefectures on the southern island of Kyushu. So, expect pictures of coffees, frightening volcano descents, onsen (hot springs), Japanese breakfasts, a ryokan where the owner absolutely loved the Beatles, remote mountain shrines, and a “hidden” village of potters.
