Field report #10 – the monthly longer essay for supporters
I went to Mexico City last week to learn about Formula E. It’s basically the electric car version of Formula One, and the season’s opening race was being held at CDMX’s Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, near the airport.
What does an electric car race sound like? It’s the whipping whine of cars going very fast, nearly 200 mph. It’s the bass-y gut-crunch as the cars regenerate power.
