Belgian artist Dries Depoorter made a project called “The Follower” where he recorded public camera footage for several weeks, then scraped Instagram for photos taken near those cameras and geo-tagged.
Software compared the two and yields this:
He also has a project called “The Flemish Scrollers,” where software automatically tags distracted Belgian politicians if they use their phones at work. How soon can we see this applied to C-SPAN?
