I like nearly all genres of music, but folk music isn’t something I put on very often, particularly not new stuff.

But Joanna Sternberg’s new album I’ve Got Me, which I found through Pitchfork, is working for me: nice songs, a warbly voice and a Tin Pan Alley vibe, also rock-y at times. “People Are Toys to You” is pretty great:
